This half term Year 5 will be working on a topic called Food For Life - it is linked to achieving our gold award so we have lots of important work to do!
We will be looking at growing food from seed organically and discussing where our food actually comes from. On our trip we will take part in lots of farm based activities, which he have been building up to all year through our environmental and outdoor work.
We are also going to work towards another award: The Green Tree School Award. This is run by the Woodland Trust so we will be doing lots of work surrounding trees and looking at how important they are to our world.
