"Only a life lived for others, is a life worthwhile." - Albert Einstein

On Saturday, 12th May, over 40 people turned up to help in our digathon. Pupils (past and present), family members, governors, staff, members of the community and even trainee teachers joined together to make a special difference to a piece of land we all share. Frederic Walker Gardens is now developing into a beautiful area. Our most recent task (planting a wildflower meadow) will be perfect to attract bees and butterflies to the area. We all had a brilliant time, stopping halfway through for a picnic donated by all our diggers. Keep a look out for our next event - everyone is welcome!
Alongside this, we had great fun painting the school hallway with paint donated by PPG. A big thanks to Veronica from PPG for donating the paint, equipment and her time. Our brilliant pupils, governors and members of staff picked up a brush too - thank you all for your contributions to our school.
