We have been learning about the Great Fire of London.

A great fire swept through London in 1666.  It started in a bakery in Pudding Lane owned by Thomas Farynor.  A man called Samuel Pepys saw the fire and kept a diary.  We have been writing our own diaries.

Year 1 and 2 have been learning about Diwali, the Hindu festival of light.  It is India's most important holiday.  We made diyas from clay and rangoli patterns.
