Our special event this half term is a visit to St Leonards Farm Park in Esholt.

To prepare for this our topic is called 'Down of the Farm'.

The children will use their language and communication skills to plan our trip.  They will use non fiction books to find out about farm animals and computers to search for information relating to farm animals and machinary.  They will then develop their computer skills by making animal fact sheets.

Your child may want to draw a picture of their favourite farm animal or write about their favourite farm animal in the holidays. They could make something such as a farm, tractor, or a collage. This will help with their learning when they return to school next half term.  Here are some links to websites that your child might enjoy which will help them to understand more about our topic.
